Academic Experiences

During my PhD at the University of Sheffield, I gained broad academic experience through teaching, marking, research assistance, and student support within the School of Architecture. These roles enabled me to contribute to both architectural education and research while strengthening my skills in communication, mentoring, academic collaboration, and project delivery.

My experience includes working as a Workshop Teaching Assistant and Marker for Year 2 architecture students in October 2025, engaged by Dr Xiang Ren, and as a PGR Research Assistant in May 2024, also under Dr Xiang Ren. I also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant across several modules, including ARC221 Computer-Aided Architectural Design, ARC202 Communication 4, and ARC104 Humanities, collaborating with Dr Tim Ireland, Dr Yasmina C. El Chami, Dr Luis Hernan, and Dr Xiang Ren. In addition, I supported MAAD reviews and served as a Student Ambassador, reflecting my ongoing involvement in teaching, student engagement, and academic service.
